The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) was established in 1959 with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as the first technical cooperation organization on a private basis in Japan. Its main purpose is to promote international economic cooperation and enhance mutual economic development and friendly relations between other countries and Japan.

The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) Manila Office was established in 1990. AOTS Manila Office serves as local coordinator and liaison office for smooth implementation of AOTS activities. Some of our specific roles are:

  • Consultation and information services on AOTS Training Programs to local companies and organizations.
  • Implementation and coordination of overseas training programs in the Philippines.

Our Slogan, “Linking the World through Human Resource Development,” expresses our mission at AOTS.
